Quarnge Bench / Table

All of the furniture made under the Möbel Line label is made from sustainably grown and harvested multi veneer Baltic Birch plywood. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has certified the plywood we use as environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable for their part of the management of the world's forests. In addition, this formaldehyde free furniture, being computer cut, allows us to make one of the Quarnge chairs or one of the Quarange bench/tables out of a single sheet of plywood. This results in our being able to use upwards of 85% of that single sheet. This means we produce a lot less waste that puts far less strain on our land fills.

Each piece of furniture is hand made in our woodshop in the Russell Industrial Center located in the heart of The City of Detroit. We employ local crafts people in the manufacture of our made-to-order pieces. Please inquire about custom colors and finishes as well as crafting and shipping costs.

We can also make any of our furniture pieces out of American-made "ApplePly" brand plywood, manufactured by States Industries located in Eugene Oregon for those of you who would prefer to have all-American content in your furniture. As this product is more costly, please expect a small up-charge.
